The innovative lift & slide system EUROPA 10000 Hybrid, to be used in spaces where intense climatic conditions require high standards of thermal insulation. It ideally meets the need for strong thermal insulation in sliding systems.

Ideal for large openings and also able to carry heavy glass, due to the advanced rolling mechanism which ensures a perfect and smooth rolling.

EUROPA 10000 Hybrid offers high thermal insulation with a low thermal conductivity factor.

The evolution in the EUROPA 10000 series, which offers the ability for a 90° corner construction without adding a corner column.

The special construction of the series offers open space along with an impressive, unhindered view.

• High thermal insulation achieved with the use of 24mm polyamide between the drivers and 18mm between sashes and adjoining profile
• Sealing and waterproofing with sealant rubbers
• Double or triple glass between 14mm and 50mm thick
Usage: Sliding, swinging frames, overlapping and corner structures with Thermal Break, with or without lift and slide mechanism, depending on choice.

BASIC CHARACTERISTICS

1. Stainless steel lamina or aluminium profile on drivers head for smooth sliding.

5. Plastic cover (PVC) for drivers to insulate and protect them from water.
6. Elastic block (EPDM) seals drivers of successive and in-wall systems.

8. Rubber tubular gaskets (EPDM) provide absolute seal to the sashes.
9. 2 levels of channeling of water (to the outer side of the frame), for better drainage of the driver.
10. Can be combined with EUROPA 5500 Hybrid for complex structures.
11. The EUROPA 10000 could create constructions of 90 degrees with no column in the middle in order to provide unobstructed view.

WHAT DO WE MEAN BY THE TERM ARE THE “ENERGY” ALUMINUM FRAMES?

The energy (thermally-cut) frames stand out from the conventional ones, thanks to the use of a special insulating material (polyamide) which is a bad heat conductor) that distinguishes the window profiles in two parts, both exterior and interior. In this way, high thermal insulation is achieved, with considerable benefits also for soundproofing.

Thermal insulation of the windows (coefficient of thermal conductivity) is measured in W / m2k. This factor defines the amount of heat in Watt per unit of time that a 1m2 frame can penetrate when the temperature difference between its two surfaces (in-out) is 1 degree (1 ° C).

An energy aluminium frame also requires the corresponding glass (glass pane). A glass pane and aluminum profiles have different coefficients. The coefficient of thermal permeability of the aluminum profile is called Uf (U Frame – frame) and the coefficient of the glass is called Ug (U Glass – glass). Combined, they give the Uw coefficient (Window U – window), which refers to the frame as a whole, precisely because the glass and the window profile occupy a different surface each time depending on the dimension of the window frame (bathroom window, balcony door, etc.).
